Seminar Description
Whether you’ve just started a Program Management Office (PMO) or you’re on way to building a Strategic Project Office, this seminar is “must attend” for PMO Directors and PMO Program Managers, in learning ways to advance your PMO, taking your PMO to the next level – to a mature, stable and strategic PMO. PMOs are utilized in a number of ways in the different industries today. Depending on your organizational needs, your PMO may be charged with:
· implementing a project/program management methodology
· leading organizational changes in promoting a project management culture
· institutionalizing organizational processes and methodologies
· managing programs and projects at enterprise-level
· improving the organization's overall performance.
As the PMO delivers tremendous benefits at enterprise-level, executive management finds new ways to get the PMO involved in other organizational endeavors.
PMO Directors and PMO staff need to be prepared to advance the PMO to live up to the organizational needs and expectations.
This seminar will cover approaches in starting a PMO, successfully implementing a PMO and advancing your PMO to a strategic level.
Successful PMO implementation techniques, as well as program and portfolio management methodologies, will be discussed. Other ways to utilize the PMO, e.g., in OPM3 implementation, in HR management, will also be explored in providing PMO Directors with avenues in advancing the PMO—taking your PMO to the next level.
